I was chatting with an indie maker friend today about how we are scared to make changes to our products because of potential reactions of people on the Internet.
Paywall a free feature? Charge more money? Make a living?
Or even, just putting yourself out there - promoting yourself, using your real name, and selling yourself - when you do this there will be haters.
And the more successful you are, the more haters there will be, and the more hate you will get.
By no means do I have a lot of haters, but I have had some.
Here's a few that come to mind.
There's a lot more out there, but I'm too tired to find them and should go to bed.
It's funny how the haters stand out so much more than all of the people that have said nice things.
It's ironic, I'm writing a blog post about the haters. Hate is very powerful.
But the point of this post is to show that if you're doing anything, there will be haters.
And more importantly, if you're getting haters, it's a really good sign.
